Little Me
Yesterday an empire was lost
Industries I have demolished
Fortunes I have abandoned
In order to construct dignity
I've walked with death underneath the soles of my feet
I've torn through windows
Kicked down doors
Rode on a sunken ship across a desert of salt
In search of serenity
I've drowned precious time
Eating soup with a fork
I've climbed to the top of the Andes
Just to solely appreciate simplicity
I've jumped trains
I've dodged a millions bullets
I've bled in vain
To keep my faith
Here I stand, little me
With barren hands
Little me
With my wings on the down
Little me
Ready for nothing but holding my ground
Then we touch
