>> Where We Started
Mary and I took a day trip and went back to where we started: Yosemite. We were stuck in traffic due to construction half way into the park so we got out of the car and took pictures in the snow. Mary snapped some lovely photos of me sinking in the snow. We arrived at 3PM and the Ahwahnee dinning room was closed and didn't open up again until 5PM. We had to sit and the bar to order food and drinks instead. I had the smoked salmon duo and Mary had the pita dish. We both had veggie and hummus dip appetizer and Gin & Tonic and Bloody Mary cocktails. We ran into Brandon who remembered us when we used to work in Yosemite. We were so loud at the bar that we scared everybody away, especially when we were talking about my burrito in Mary's taco. From the Ahwahnee Hotel bar, the three of us headed to the Mountain Room bar. At the Mountain Room I ran into old friends Melanie and Tanya who have been there forever.
