One Autumn Day
 
T'was an early autumn day when you came to me
You were sure of all the wonders this could be
For your gentle touch respects what is wonderful
Your eyes commands all that is beautiful
 
Hope lingers on simple words like, "hello"
Love as complex as saying nothing at all
For our bodies commit to each other
Our hearts vow to one another
 
We share laughter throughout the day light
And drying each other's tears in between
We found salvation in one another's arms
Defining an unheard way of loving 'till the sun reach dawn
 
But in the end pumpkins are only pumpkins
Mice are still only mice
Magic will still remain to that one autumn day
